Maverick MICR III M366 Exception Item Encoder Encoding exception items at the branch level accomplishes two goals:
Minimal Training The Maverick MICR III is designed to accommodate the two primary modes of operation found in exception item encoders today. This approach allows an operator to select a function key and then enter the data or allows an operator to enter the data then press the function key. Either mode of data entry is accepted by the MICR III. Display The two-line display helps minimize errors by prompting the operator. The first line allows for descriptions and/or instructions and the second line displays the operator’s entry. These features help ensure data accuracy, thus making the MICR III extremely east to learn and use. Enhanced Program Flexibility The MICR III is completely field programmable through the keyboard. With enhanced program flexibility, the following standard features are available on the MICR III:
