Maverick MICR III M366 Exception Item Encoder

Encoding exception items at the branch level accomplishes two goals:

  • Provides customer service in the form of starter kits, lobby deposits and counter checks
  • Saves valuable time and money by presenting qualified items to the proof department

Minimal Training

The Maverick MICR III is designed to accommodate the two primary modes of operation found in exception item encoders today. This approach allows an operator to select a function key and then enter the data or allows an operator to enter the data then press the function key. Either mode of data entry is accepted by the MICR III.

Display

The two-line display helps minimize errors by prompting the operator. The first line allows for descriptions and/or instructions and the second line displays the operator’s entry. These features help ensure data accuracy, thus making the MICR III extremely east to learn and use.

Enhanced Program Flexibility

The MICR III is completely field programmable through the keyboard. With enhanced program flexibility, the following standard features are available on the MICR III:

  • 8 programmable function keys
  • Each function key can be programmed to scroll up to 99 different fields CDV/CDG (each field)
  • Auto-incrementing (each field)
  • Auto-repeat encoding
  • Floating On-Us feature
  • Field “look-up” feature
  • Single-pass, full field encoding
  • Dog-ear detection
  • Ribbon out detection
  • Extremely small footprint
  • Down-sized ribbon cartridge
